Iron man Dunks

We gave you a look at this Dunk Low SB sample last August, but at the time, the story behind them was still unclear. Now, the rumor is that this Dunk SB model was inspired by last summer’s superhero blockbuster, Iron Man, and was possibly intended for a summer release to coincide with the opening of the movie. Obviously, for whatever reasons, that never happened, but now we get a look at what could have been. Images of this sample version have recently emerged, and as you can see, while the kicks do sport Iron Man’s trademark red and gold, a healthy dose of black leather was also used on the upper to tone down the look some. As far as we know, there are no plans to ever release these, but with an Iron Man sequel currently in the works, Nike SB will certainly get a second chance to make them relevant, so we’ll let you know if they decide to drop the Iron Man Dunks after all. French urban artist zevs has a must-see show at art statements gallery, opening there on thu - jul 16. the artist arrived earlier in hong kong to create a series of paintings of LV and chanel dripping logos on lacquer [the traditional chinese way] in collaboration with local craftsmen. additionally, he made a series of ceramics and paintings on metal. all these works will be presented plus a variety of his other signature liquidated logos.

Nike 6.0 StinkWeen Glow in the dark

Nike 6.0 has definitely stepped their game up of late. Their latest collaborative effort is one of the strongest efforts in the line’s relatively short history. Featuring designs from artist Mad Steez and his protegé Sinkween, the Nike 6.0 Braata ‘Stinkween’ looks like it was made for Hallo-ween. These joints have a green upper with purple accents and some Where the Wild Things Are-like monsters on the highly detailed outsoles. The laces and monster teeth on the tongue glow in the dark, nicely completing the scary theme

next year a pair of air jordan 6's will drop in the long awated black and infared color way i have the olympic color so does kyi and our father and they both have the carmine color but i dont this brings a tear to my eye lol

he Nike Hoop Structure initially caught many Nike Running fans off guard converting a retro running favorite into a basketball shoe, but with a series of wonderful colorways, the Nike Hoop Structure is turning heads in the positive direction.

In the past we have seen a few Jordan-esque colorways of the Nike Hoop Structure including one loosely inspired by the Olympic 6’s and Aqua 8’s, but this colorway definitely has an Infrared 6 feel to it. While Jordan Brand will be releasing a “Black/Varsity Red” colorway of the Jordan 6 next spring, will these hold you over until then?

With numerous guest appearances and his recent directorial debut on Drake’s new music video, Kanye West could be, if not already, the Hardest Working Man in Hip-Hop. Now, he might attempt at the title as the Hardest Working Man in Fashion. Reported in this week’s tabloid Us Weekly, West been interning at the apparel giant GAP’s New York office. Sources told the tabloid that West “…works all the time, and one Friday night recently, he stayed until 12 am…” No surprise there, whether it be music or fashion, West been known to dove in them whole heartedly. He also wanted to learn the process from the ground up, hence this internship at the GAP. As fashion designer Raf Simons mentioned in the March issue of Details, “He’s very serious about it.” in regard to West’s interest in fashion. In the same story, the artist proclaimed “I’m 31.
